Process Communication Model® (PCM)
PROCESS COMMUNICATION MODEL® (PCM)
The Process Communication Model® is a tool for decoding human interactions.
As humans, we are a unique combination of six different Personality Types (energies) that exist within all of us: Thinker, Persister, Rebel, Promoter, Harmonizer, Imaginer.
Each type comes with its own set of strengths and preferences, which we use to interact with others in various settings, like home, work, holidays, and more.
While these interactions can bring us benefits in our everyday lives, they can also result in miscommunication and distress.
In the end, we all want to be happy and satisfied in our relationships with one another.
What PCM offers for you:
- Get to know your unique Personality Structure across six different levels, what energy prevails in your life.
- Gain insights into diverse perspectives, communication preferences, and needs of others.
- Utilize effective communication strategies to overcome misunderstandings and make a positive impact, ensuring that others not only listen to you, but truly “hear” you.
- Establish good connections and mutually satisfying relationships that stand the test of time.
What PCM offers for your team:
- Be mindful of the team members’ unique personalities and their needs.
- Learn how to motivate and lead with a personalized approach.
- Use your communication strategies to foster team collaboration and boost productivity.
- Create a diverse & inclusive environment where team members are encouraged to realize their potential and contribute to the team in their unique way.
HISTORY
The Process Communication Model® is a tool developed by clinical psychologist, Dr. Taibi Kahler.
Kahler was interested in Eric Berne’s work on Transactional Analyses and his Life Scripts theory.
Thaibi Kahler recognized that by second-by-second observation in the communication of an individual, you can predict repeatable patterns. We disclose our script in the way we formulate our sentences and manifest in behavior.
Kahler developed the concept of the Miniscript correlated to six personality typologies. The Miniscript became the basic construct of the Process Communication Model. He was awarded Eric Berne Memorial Scientific Award for this discovery.
The Process Communication Model PCM is used in over 50 countries by renowned organizations such as NASA, L’Oréal, Pixar, and BMW, as well as educational and governmental institutions.
Barrett Analytics™
Barrett AnalyticsTM are widely recognized for their ease of use, detailed diagnostics, and meaningful insight. They are based on proven methodology and perfected over more than 25 years of real-world experience, used by thousands of organizations and leaders around the world.
THE BARRETT MODEL™
The Barrett Model is the breakthrough work of Richard Barrett. Inspired by Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and tested over more than two decades of real-world experience with thousands of organizations, the model identifies the seven areas that comprise human motivations. These range from basic survival at one end, to service and concern for future generations at the other.
It provides a proven and extraordinarily useful map for understanding the values of your employees, leaders, and stakeholders. Even better, it offers a means for creating more supportive and productive relationships between them and a deeper alignment of purpose across your organization.
Culture Sustainability Report (CSR)
Cultural Sustainability Report is an extension to the Barrett Cultural Values Assessment. It provides insights into how well your current and desired culture aligns with your sustainable ambitions and the ability of your organization to contribute to building a better world for all.
- What values support your people in aligning to the UNSDG’s?
- Do leaders have the values needed to create a culture to maximize execution of your sustainability strategy?
- How is your culture aligned to the 5Ps?
- Is anything detracting from your targets?
- What do leaders need to do differently to execute effectively towards your sustainability goals?
Well-Being Assessment
The Wellbeing Assessment is a powerful tool for measuring wellbeing, understanding the work environment and identifying factors that help and hinder wellbeing.
Well-being metrics are increasingly included in executive dashboards. These metrics shed light on the “why” behind other key metrics, such as absenteeism, retention, engagement, and healthcare cost / utilization.
The report identifies strengths and stressors in the work environment, aligned with impacts on employee wellbeing, and employee requests for specific changes. Organizations can quickly act on the results.
Well-being is impacted by what we experience and how we respond to it. Insights from the assessment can support growth in employees and organizational changes in culture, leadership, structure, and systems.
The Barrett ModelTM underpins this assessment. This model is the thread that links all BVC Analytics – seamlessly bridging wellbeing to leadership and culture initiatives.
Leadership Workshops Inspired by Tango
Argentine tango is one of the most fascinating dance forms. The essence of the Argentine tango lies in the intricate interplay between the leader and the follower, each embracing a unique role.
Tango is a powerful tool for highlighting leadership and teamwork challenges in high-performing teams, thanks to the similarities between business and dance. Furthermore, tango can help individuals grow both personally and, in their relationships, by fostering intimacy and connection through close attention to each other.
Tango involves a certain level of ‘letting go’ and surrendering to the other person, which leads to a non-judgmental acceptance of each other – an experience that can be both healing and energizing.
Tango philosophy is often used as inspiration for leadership workshops as it can inspire and motivate individuals to become better leaders and team players.
Raven has designed Tango-inspired experiential workshops that showcase the power of team unity and coherence. These workshops are ideal for team-building events, meetings, and leadership practices.
Team Coaching and Development
Team performance and team development is the journey of a whole team.
As a certified team coach, dealing with the client (a team), I follow the structured process of diagnosing the challenge that may be stopping them from being at their best productivity, cooperation, and cohesion impacting business results.
We look at three levels for problem definition and intervention.
- structure (boundaries, roles, and hierarchy)
- relation (dynamics, persona, social ranking)
- psychodynamic (transference, imago, personality).
This process involves a leader together with the team. The program consists of six 2.5-hour team coaching sessions and five 1-hour individual coaching sessions with a leader. These sessions are focused on creating high-performing teams and supporting a leader to the end of the process.
The methodology behind is Organisational Transactional Analysis.
