The same rules don’t apply to all relationships.
This is the fact we experience every day. Sometimes, we worry about not being understood, or not understand others. The reason for this is that we value, see and feel the world in a different way.
We meet various people, use our character strengths, perceptions, channels and styles in communication.
And, what the same for everyone is their needs to be addressed and treated in a preferable manner to initiate TRUST between the two.
Trust is raising when I am safe in your company, and I can rely on you. Being in the comfort zone, means that fear prevails, and I struggle to step up and face the uknown. I put a mask and my behavior does not contribute to the situation in a positive way, even more, I am in distress.
What is needed is to reveal the patterns that we follow. Unconsciously, they pop up each time when we are exposed to a situation from the past that has not been resolved authentically.
Authenticity
In his book, Seeing People Through, by Nate Regier, the author highlights:
“leadership agility involves learning how to access and energize any floor in order to assess, connect, communicate, motivate and grow.
Sell- fullness is about knowing, appreciating, caring for and maximizing your unique personality structure and all that goes with it. You can’t influence yourself properly without awareness and management of your personality. Many people equate authenticity with “being true to yourself”.
Being true to yourself from PCM perspective means that you can’t rely on just one or two of the six types,or adopt an attitude that your strongest part is the best part. Being true to yourself means honoring all six types within you.”
